power-bands

so i found some old red fluffy yarn in a bargain bin and have started a new project: +1 bloodletting powerbands of destruction... i'm going to wing it.

pretty basic, 4dpns at what i think are 8 gauge, 18 sts, knit in the round till it looks like it's time to add the thumb hole, i guess im going to just bind off a few sts where i want it then knit till i get to them again then turn around a purl opposite direciton till i get back to it again, repeating the process till the hole looks big enough, and then just adding sts to reconnect. this is the only way i can envision it happening.

i just really needed to start another project, earlier in the month i was starting a hat, with some random "weird yarn" and some other random fur type yarn, but i couldnt get the size right, i frogged it like five times i think, and was too frustrated to continue, so that's where the powerbands come in, their easy and only take a night or two to finish.
anyway, that's about it.

rad ass slippers!!!

so life's not so shitty! think positively! today i was surfing and found the raddest slipper pattern ever!
okay, truth be told, it's the only knit slipper pattern I've ever seen, being quite an inexperienced knitter of only four years or so, most of which i wasn't actually knitting at all for...

but hey, who cares, maybe it's time to take on some real challenges and learn how to read patterns!

oh, the life

after halloween i just cant wait for the end of the holidays, and they haven't even started yet.

now that's out of the way

with the impending holidays at hand and me just past my 28th year of life on this planet, anticipating one another horrid season, i find myself contemplating existance. but it's pointless.
i might as well just stick around to see what happens next, out of boredom and curiosity.
